The Rev'd. Sara Palmer, Rector
Sara was appointed rector in May 2016 and began her leadership for the overall ministry of Holy Trinity Church on July 1, 2016. Sara came to us from St. Mary's, High Point, NC where she was Assistant Rector. Born and educated in the United Kingdom, Sara served as a missionary in Bolivia before returning to the United States with her American husband David. She attended Virginia Theological Seminary before her appointment at St. Mary's. Sara's husband David is a musician with degrees from Ball State University and Eastman School of Music. Bill Bausano, Choir Director
William Bausano has been the Choir Director at Holy Trinity since 1982. He is an active member of the parish and has served as a Lay Eucharistic Minister. Bill received a DMA degree in Choral Music from the University of Southern California. He is Professor of Music and Director of Choral Activities at Miami University, and past president and Honorary Life Member of the National Collegiate Choral Organization.
Phillip Roberts, Organist
Phillip Roberts holds three degrees in composition, including a DMA from the College Conservatory of Music (University of Cincinnati) with cognate studies in organ. He has extensive experience in accompaniment as well as arranging and editing. He currently teaches Music Theory in the Department of Music at Miami University.
Kim Shann, Administrative Assistant
Kim was born and raised in northern New Jersey and moved to Oxford, OH in 1996. She is a graduate of Miami University and worked for the university for fifteen years. Previously, she held positions in the computer industry and was a professional and freelance writer. Kim especially enjoys spending time in her garden, watching the evening sky, and get-togethers with family and friends.
Debbie Vogt, Nursery Care
Debbie, a native of Hamilton, OH, has lived in Oxford since 2006. After attending Miami University, she worked at Cincinnati Bell prior to the birth of her three children. After being a stay-at-home mom for 16 years, she re-entered the workforce. She was a Traffic Manager at WMUB (Miami's NPR station) for 12 years. She is currently employed in the athletic department at Miami. Debbie has worked in the Holy Trinity nursery since 2009, full-time since August 2011. She is a member of the Woman's Club of Oxford, the Oxford Toastmasters Club, and volunteers with the Oxford Police Department Citizens Observer Patrol. She has five grandchildren.
